When I’m not fine-tuning interactions or untangling the intricacies of design systems, my curiosity takes me out into the Pacific Northwest outdoors — snowboarding, splitboarding, surfing, or just gazing at the stars.

Outside of that, the greatest love of my life is experiencing it with my family. Building box spaceships with my daughter is one of my favorite things we do.

I bring that same joy for life into the workplace — whether it’s thinking about how to break a pattern library or how a single interaction or component will shape user behavior. I like to make and break things to solve design problems, and to make wonderful things along the way.
